We’ve just returned from an amazing trip to Hong Kong where we had a blast working and performing with local percussionists at the newly built East Kowloon Cultural Centre.

Our host, with , also showed us around the unforgettable sights, sounds, and tastes of the city. We had a blast meeting the other guest percussionists, , .maki , and Kim Eun Hye and from Percussion Duo Moitié. We even had one extra day in town to experience the city as true tourists. We floated on the ferry, rode the tram, hiked Victoria Peak, took in breathtaking views, and indulged in some of Hong Kong’s tastiest treats.

With nearly 50 hours of travel under our belt, our time in Hong Kong was unforgettable, and we’re so thankful to all the wonderful people who welcomed us with open arms.

Now we’re off on our next adventure— “Re(new)al” by with on March 27th and 28th!

For the first time in the 11 years we’ve held the Sandbox Percussion Seminar, we are sharing a loose schedule to give prospective participants an idea of how they’ll spend their week with us. This schedule is subject to change and does not show all of the active seminar days, but we hope this information is helpful to folks planning their summers.
