Climate Changemakers Concerned about the climate emergency? Us too. Start with an hour of action every week. https://www.climatechangemakers.org/join-us One hour of action at a time.

Climate Changemakers is a nonprofit organization started by a group of climate-concerned individuals who were frustrated by the traditional system of climate advocacy. Started in August 2020, we watched as our forests burned and air filled with smoke, and wondered how we could take action ourselves, not give money for others to do it for us. As a normal person, it is easy to feel helpless in the face of the climate crisis. Not all of us can be Greta Thunberg. That’s where Climate Changemakers comes in. We break it down, take away the mystique and give concrete, simple political actions for you to take. We incorporated as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit in June 2021, and are looking to build our team as we continue to grow.

Hours of Action are your go-to advocacy event every week – same time, same place. Drop in whenever you can to get your weekly answer to, “What can I do?”

New here? 🤗 Welcome! We're pushing for solutions.

😎 This weeks's under-60-minute action: contact your governor about unblocking plug-in solar!

As more and more state legislatures pass plug-in solar legislation, the final step to turn those bills into law is securing final signature from the governor. Build buy-in from the top down to ensure those bills are enacted.
