Climate Changemakers is a nonprofit organization started by a group of climate-concerned individuals who were frustrated by the traditional system of climate advocacy. Started in August 2020, we watched as our forests burned and air filled with smoke, and wondered how we could take action ourselves, not give money for others to do it for us. As a normal person, it is easy to feel helpless in the f

ace of the climate crisis. Not all of us can be Greta Thunberg. That’s where Climate Changemakers comes in. We break it down, take away the mystique and give concrete, simple political actions for you to take. We incorporated as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit in June 2021, and are looking to build our team as we continue to grow.

With our friends at Climate Reality, we just launched the Use It or Lose It campaign—our push to help communities cash in on still-available clean energy tax incentives that are now being phased out *years* earlier by the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”

Tonight’s kickoff is the beginning of a 2-month effort.⚡️

Our goals: 1️⃣ spread the word to help homeowners, schools, businesses, and nonprofits save money, and 2️⃣ keep the clean energy transition charging forward.
