Ariana was part of the first 50 recipients of the Google for Startups Latino Founders Fund.
Ariana started her Represented journey with a nonprofit coding idea 'Girls Can Build'. Represented helped Ariana navigate the idea by pairing her with Eunice Nyandat, an experienced entrepreneur and founder of MBM Africa, as a mentor.
Inspired to have greater impact for women of color, Ariana pivoted her focus to develop DivySci, an A.I. platform.

The first New York City Council fund of its kind, CCNSF aims to build the capacity of New York City nonprofits, particularly recognizing that organizations led by people in the community are best equipped to meet the needs of the community.

Meet Kaniya Samm, co-founder of Rooted LLC.
Rooted provides culturally empowering services, holistic resources, and social advocacy tools to improve mental and physical health and live healthier, more self-determined lives.
Kaniya provides full spectrum doula services, childbirth education, and general prenatal coaching to Rooted’s prenatal, postpartum, and interconception clients.
She takes a holistic approach to reproductive care by integrating natural remedies, education, movement, and mindfulness.

Meet Jerri Reid, founder of A Seamless Way Inc. Where they are creating a safe space for young artists of color through art and expression in east New York.
They have been able to service over 200 students in Brooklyn and Queens schools for 5 years. Over the course of 32-weeks, students learned skills necessary for success in the world of fashion.
Their program has enhanced math skills as well as social and emotional skills. Their students have gone on to be College-bound or Career-bound ready.

We are closing out by introducing a women who inspires us through our "Letters in Legacy" blog series.
Meet Anika Carter, the co-founder of Rooted LLC. A wellness startup providing clients with culturally empowering services.
The inspiration behind Rooted LLC. started after Anika noticed the lack of resources and preventative care that black women receive within the healthcare industry. Anika shared that she is motivated by “seeing in our respective communities, (a) lack of resources, and (mostly) preventable negative health outcomes.”
