This year marks our 8th Summer Tea Prospect Park Alliance since 2019! 🍵🌿

In this time of change, arts and culture in our communities are where we continue to find inspiration and meaning.

We look forward to seeing you for a day of connection, mindfulness, and shared tea experiences.

The event features:

🎵 Opening performance by nava dunkelman and music by Aidin Turganbekov

🌳 Walk through the nature trails by the boathouse led by Prospect Park Alliance staffs

Join Eleanor Lee for tea in Staten Island.

This year, everyone is invited to come together for a tea ceremony, share thoughts, and write short poems or odes on beautiful handmade paper about neighbors and what they mean to each of us.

The gathering features Odes to Common Things poetry writing led by Robin Lampman.

Join for early afternoon tea in Brooklyn for the GreenThumb NYC Open Garden Day.

Open Garden Day opens hundreds of gardens across New York City for people to connect with their local community. Join us to celebrate the Brooklyn community through the art of tea. We invite you to come early to explore the garden at 1:00 PM, then gather for tea, conversation, and community from 1:30 PM onward. This gathering also features Odes to Common Things poetry writing to discover and celebrate our shared humanity.
