Recognition That Reflects Community Impact

Earlier this year, Via Mobility Services was honored to be recognized as a finalist for the Innovative Business of the Year Award at the Boulder Chamber Celebration of Leadership.

While we are grateful for the recognition, what matters most is the impact behind itβ€”helping older adults, people with disabilities, and others access the transportation they need to live independently and stay connected to their communities.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our employees, volunteers, riders, donors, and community partners who help make mobility and independence possible every day.

Thank you for being part of our journey toward a more connected and accessible community.

Environmental Monitoring & Community Research

At Via Mobility Services, our work goes beyond transportation 🚍 .

We are partnering with the University of Colorado Boulder on air quality research near the Valmont Power Station area.

A monitoring device at our Boulder Headquarters, installed by the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineeringβ€”is helping study how coal fly ash may move through the environment.

We also host a groundwater monitoring station supporting Xcel Energy and the City of Boulder.

Together, this work supports science, stewardship, and community well-being.

πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸ’Ό 🚍 πŸ’Ό Taking the Voices of Our Community to Capitol Hill

Earlier this year, Via Mobility Services leaders Dena Boutwell and Adriana Torres traveled to Washington, D.C., to advocate for transportation services that help people stay connected to healthcare, employment, education, and community life.

By sharing the experiences of riders and communities directly with policymakers, they helped ensure the importance of mobility, accessibility, and independence remains part of the conversation.

Advocacy is one of the many ways Via Mobility Services works to build a future where everyone has access to the transportation options they need.

πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸŽ“ 🚍 πŸ’™ A Small Story of Big Meaning: Community Connection on the Road

A simple moment on the road became a lasting family tradition.

Naomi grew up seeing our vehicles as a sign of good luckβ€”something that brought comfort and encouragement through school milestones and big tests. As she now prepares for graduation, our team was honored to celebrate her journey with a care package and a message of encouragement.

Stories like this remind us that transportation is about more than getting from place to place, it’s about connection, consistency, and community.

Congratulations, Naomi, and best wishes on what comes next.
