Denver Council Navy League

The Denver Council held its September meeting on Friday, September 18. Our guest speaker was retired teacher, Chris Stofac, who participated in the "Educator at Sea" program aboard USS Nimitz in 2022. He shared this adventure with us from landing on the flight deck in a C2 COD, seeing the glow of afterburners in the dark, and hearing the roar of the planes taking off.

Happy Birthday, U.S. Coast Guard!

For 236 years, Semper Paratus hasn't just been a motto, it's been a promise kept on every coast, every port, and every waterway across our nation. As one of the sea services the Navy League exists to support, the Coast Guard has stood the watch through storms, rescues, and long hours most of us never see.

The Navy League salutes every Coast Guardsman, active duty, reserve, auxiliary, and civilian, who carries that promise forward. Thank you for your service.

Happy birthday! ⚓
