JVS provides refugees and immigrants with English language classes, job search support, and professional skills training with flexible schedules for remote, in-person, day, and evening coaching. Since January of this year, 349 of our VESOL students have utilized their training and coaching to secure jobs.

Congratulations to the graduates from the Bridges to College GMP Biotechnology Traditional Certificate program at Quincy College. After participating in a part-time remote training curriculum at JVS with full academic, career, and financial coaching, our students completed an intensive one-year certificate program at Quincy College to prepare themselves for professional careers in the biotechnology industry.

“Learning has the power to transform not only your own life, but also the lives of those around you,” said graduate Jean Carrel Norceide.

Several graduates were also recipients of the First Literacy, Inc. scholarship after completing English language courses at JVS.

“Receiving the First Literacy scholarship made it possible for me to continue my education without the constant stress of financial barriers,” said graduate Deborah Jean.
