Commonwealth Corporation and the Healey-Driscoll Administration recently announced $5.9 million in workforce development grant funding to train, upskill, and provide job placement for workers across Massachusetts. The Senator Kenneth J. Donnelly Workforce Success Grants are funded by the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development and provide resources to close the skills gap, increase access to quality jobs, and strengthen the workforce through employer partnerships.
JVS is proud to be one of 12 grant recipients selected. As part of this initiative, we will partner with Mass General Brigham and Boston Medical Center to train and place job seekers in Phlebotomist roles.
Thank you to Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Lauren Jones, Governor Maura Healey, and everyone at CommCorp for investing in workforce training, job placement services, and additional support for job seekers across the state.
