That is why our work with Federally Qualified Health Centers extends beyond coordinating clinical care. It includes supporting approaches that connect primary care with behavioral health, care management, pharmacy, social health, and other resources that can help people achieve better health on their own terms.

Patient-centered care is about building a system that fits the people it serves.

October is National Health Literacy Month, which reminds us to always recognize the importance of making health information clear, accessible, and meaningful to all.

Health literacy sits at the heart of health equity.

Through our partnerships with Federally Qualified Health Centers, we work to support care that meets people where they are, from understanding a diagnosis or medication, to connecting with resources that address the social factors affecting their health.

Better health does not end with access to care. It starts with having the knowledge and support to take the next step.

Our teammates at Community Pharmacy Cooperative (CPC) know how pharmacists contribute far beyond dispensing medications.

They help all our partner health centers strengthen clinical pharmacy services, improve medication access and adherence, support 340B programs, and build pharmacy operations that respond to the unique needs of the communities they serve.

For Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), pharmacy services are an important part of delivering comprehensive, accessible, and equitable care.

Our teammates Kati Moran, Annie Pham, MHSA, and Ewa Szczotka-Gorn had a terrific day of learning at the Massachusetts Health Council's "Human-Centric AI Summit: Shaping the Future of Equitable Healthcare."

The Summit convened Massachusetts health leaders who discussed what can be done to balance innovation, privacy, and patient safety, while maintaining equity and human-centered values as AI is deployed throughout healthcare.
