Janie’s first fun feeder. She got it all. 😋

The last few days she seems to have hit her stride when it comes to eating. We are definitely on the right track. Now she just needs to have firmer stools…. Fortunately she goes outside to potty.

Emmett update
Pepsi and Zelda🐾

These dogs are resilient and showing their progress of where they were to now just several weeks later, even those that are still in the house. The ones who have left and are in foster are thriving even more!

This is the reason we do what we do. People want to say aggressive dogs, when in reality they are scared dogs. Acting aggressive in certain situations is not the same as being an aggressive dog. They need time to decompress and understand that we are only there to help them, not to hurt them. They are social animals that benefit from gentle and constructive guidance.

The help that we have already received has been amazing and greatly appreciated. The donations that have come in have truly made it possible to help these dogs.

So far all three cats have been removed and have went to Michelle Glaze and her rescue and to Kate with Pet Adoption League.

It was a slow start but the dogs are finding fosters. So far, Jasmine, Pepsi, Zelda, Shadow Blu, Frost, and Marlie are out of the house. All of them have appointments for medical, spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and mircochips.

As we get pics from fosters we will keep you updated.

It’s been amazing watching the Emmett dogs improve; look at those wagging tails! ❤️🐕 Fortunately we were able to get a few dogs off the property with the help of local rescue people and that has helped calm things down for the remaining dogs. We had a couple of people come and help out today and we got a lot accomplished. The dogs were so happy with the extra human company.

While things have improved they are still far from resolved, especially as the weather turns colder, and we desperately need more foster homes for these dogs. Look at them! They have so much potential with care, love, and time.

Our community and rescue friendly Pet Supplies Plus in Garden City had heard of our work with the Emmett dogs and donated a bag of dog food for them. They are the best!

It was a quality food and the dogs saw it as treats, not just regular kibble. 😋

Forgot to take photos. Sorry!

The Emmett place had one cat in a separate room and today we were able to get Skeeter to a rescue that is kind enough to help us! Now he has a clean and airy place to acclimate and settle down after the trauma and stress before he gets integrated with the rescue’s other cats and readied for adoption.

Best of luck, sweet Skeeter!

The Emmett case is not progressing very fast - unfortunately but not unexpectedly. We got one dog off the property and into foster care a couple of weeks ago and she is overall doing well. We call her Janey.
She is not wanting to eat very much, though, and being very slow to gain weight. Mostly she prefers canned food. She has not been used to a variety of foods so she is bit by bit learning to eat cheese, peanut butter, bacon flavored treats, egg, banana etc. She is otherwise quite healthy and recovering from her spay.
She is a precious little thing and surprisingly cuddly even if trust is still something we are working on. In spite of being picked on in the Emmett house she is great with other dogs.

She is not ready for adoption yet but inquiries are welcome.

PS: Amanda has been sick, possibly from cleaning f***s in the house, and Stine had a few sick days as well from the work on the fences and more in the heat, which is why some questions have gone unanswered.

Emmett case -

We were contacted this morning due to a post about a loose dog which was Pepsi from the house in Emmett.

Stine headed up and found that Pepsi had circled back to behind the house. Having already made the drive, Stine spent some hours finishing another fence project. The dogs have been getting more familiar with the outside areas and starting to enjoy them some.

Emmett case -

Yesterday was successful at least to Stine, me, and especially the dogs. We were at the house from 2-930 last night. Stine was busy working outside putting together kennel systems in the front (made bigger)and back so the dogs could get fresh air and can go in and out while we are there. I worked on the inside scraping floors taking out trash, feeding and watering, etc. The dogs watched us with curiosity but became worn out and slept. Rampage was a little shocked to wake up to me taking a picture of him and looked side to side and went back to sleep.

Rampage is one of the dogs who has never stepped foot outside not even to go potty. He is so scared but little by little he gets brave and steps more towards the open door. He is a sweetheart. And has the cutest underbite.

Emergency Funds Needed ‼️🐾🙏

We currently have ZERO FUNDS to help any animal who is currently with us including the ones that we are trying to help in two specific cases that are dire.

Like many of the dogs we save, these are the conditions they have been in. Living life of not only neglect but also abuse leaves them unsure of the outside world. That is why we work with these dogs. They aren’t bad dogs, they have just not been led the correct way. There are only bad humans. Unfortunately in one case it’s a matter of not having funds and bad health to keep up with what they walked into to help another family member who has passed away.

1. Emmett Case ~ 14 dogs and 3 cats. Owner will be in hospital for months. These animals are in horrible health and living conditions. Cats have been removed and placed.

2. Twin Falls Case ~ 9 adult dogs and 7 puppies. The puppies have been removed but adults still remain. These dogs are in horrible health conditions and living situation.

Both cases the animals are fighting each other due to being intact and competing for females, have injuries, hunger, need water, stressed, very scared and confused. No one else will step in to help. Only us.

Amanda has been driving to Emmett every day 40 min there and 40 mins back. Occasionally Stine or Christy has been able to go to help which has been a blessing. But much more help is needed. These dogs need placement. They need water, currently the water from an outdoor pump that is attached to a water-hose to fill the water stoped working.

Below are things needed asap

1. Money 💰 $10,000 ( medical bills, gas, etc
2. Food (Lots)
3. Someone who can get the water to work
4. Volunteers to help in any way they can
5. Trash bags industrial black
6. Potty pads
7. Catch pole
