STEM Matters to Girl Scouts! 💚⚙️ Governor Brad Little has proclaimed that October 2026 is STEM Matters Month in Idaho, and we are so proud to be a part of the celebration. At Girl Scouts, STEM education is a part of everything we do, and we encourage girls of all ages to be bold, ask questions, and get curious.

Did you know?
- STEM jobs in Idaho are projected to grow 15.4% by 2030.
- 90% of jobs will require digital literacy within the next decade.
- Tech-adjacent roles now touch over 32% of Idaho's entire workforce.

Investing in STEM education will only continue to empower our youth into becoming Idaho's future leaders. We are so excited to continue this work through STEM programming in partnership with incredible community partners across Southern Idaho!

We're partnering with the Idaho Botanical Garden to learn all about trees this November! Explore the Idaho Botanical Garden through three activities to expand your STEAM skills and learn about the importance of trees. Split into two sessions, Brownies and Juniors will tour from 10:00 - 11:30am and Cadettes through Ambassadors will tour from 1:00 - 2:30pm
