🚨 The Community Foundation is now accepting applications for Rapid Response Grants! Apply by July 10 or August 10.

Funding can support staffing, equipment, technology, and other key operational needs. These flexible grants will help nonprofits respond to growth opportunities, rising demand, or operational challenges—ensuring they can continue delivering meaningful impact in Monroe County. Grants range from $20,000 to $75,000.

📢 New grant funding opportunity for Monroe County organizations! The Community Foundation is launching a multi-tiered grant initiative to support immediate needs, strategic initiatives, and transformative community investments.

Tier 1 Rapid Response Grants are now available, with requests ranging from $20,000 to $75,000 and up to $500,000 available in this first funding tier. Applications will be reviewed in two rounds, with deadlines of July 10 and August 10.

Three funding tiers will help organizations address immediate needs, advance strategic initiatives, and pursue transformative investments.

The Camisha R. Sims Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Camisha—a compassionate nurse who made a lasting impact in Monroe County.

Priority will be given to Monroe County residents already enrolled in a nursing program, though incoming nursing students may also be considered.
