To mark the end of their unit on The Odyssey, our high school students wrapped up the classic epic with a Greek feast from Trojan Horse, featuring gyros and baklava. 🏛️ 🫓

Our community brought incredible energy and creativity to Lotus Fest this weekend! 🩷

Our high schoolers absolutely rocked the booth with their vibrant designs, while our amazing parent and staff volunteers kept everything running smoothly. A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and talent to make the weekend such a success! 🦏 🎨

A typical day in the life around Harmony for our 3/4 graders: handling Nala, their class snake, personalizing lockers, and cozying up with a good book for some independent reading time. 🐍 📚

Our Early Childhood Program has welcomed a new teacher, Sara McGaha, who has introduced a fun new snack protocol: each day, the child who has snack day brings in simple, healthy ingredients, and the class prepares them together into that day's afternoon snack. 🫑 🍎

Our students worked hard grating apples and mixing batter for apple muffins, cutting eggplant for baba ghanoush, and chopping sweet peppers for a delicious snack.

Our 5th and 6th graders students had a wonderful time visiting Richard Owens and Hoosier Pawpaw to learn about how pawpaws grow and what goes into cultivating forest-grown foods. 🌳

Students explored the property, learned about how Richard got into the pawpaw business, and had the chance to taste pawpaw for themselves. They even got to try a limited-edition pawpaw-flavored Ale-8!

The day continued at Martin State Forest, where students enjoyed lunch outdoors before making a stop nearby at the famous Jug Rock landmark.

What’s a birthday without a treat? 🍓

Our 3rd and 4th graders used the communal kitchen to make a fruit pizza to celebrate the birthdays of a classmate and teacher.

Students collaborated, followed a recipe, and practiced hands-on learning. And the best part? They got to eat it, too!

Yesterday, we gathered for our first All-School Meeting of the year!

We hold these meetings to welcome new students and to help our returning community reconnect. We introduced staff, sang our traditional Harmony ABC song, and gave everyone a chance to get reacquainted. 🤝

It was the perfect way to start building our inclusive culture for the year! ❤️
