Intellectual Takeout Feeding minds, pursuing truth. 🧠
501(c)(3) providing a platform for rational discourse.

Intellectual Takeout is a digital media nonprofit whose mission is to feed minds, foster discussion, and inspire action. We are proud to have an audience that is almost equal parts conservative and liberal and consists of over one million people on social media. Feed Minds

We produce thought-provoking content that is both relevant and concise. We’ll occasionally share longer pieces, but they’re t

he exception rather than the rule. In our blogs, we take complex ideas and break them down in a digestible form. Our authors draw from influential works, the great past of Western tradition, and interesting news items of today. Foster Discussion

Truth is best pursued through dialogue, and we see ourselves as joined in this pursuit with our audience. We offer a place to discuss significant and sometimes controversial issues in a respectful manner. Our blog posts are aimed at fostering discussion, rather than attempting to give the whole picture. Our authors tend not to be too dogmatic, and often have their own positions modified by insightful comments from audience members. Inspire Action

Ultimately, what we’re about at Intellectual Takeout is promoting human flourishing, which Aristotle said is achieved through a life of virtue and contemplation. We promote reflection on issues intimately connected with achieving this flourishing, and hope that this reflection will impact people’s lives.
