🤖 Make and Take Robot Class
📅 August 23, 2026 | 🕐 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Know a student who loves building, tinkering, problem-solving, or figuring out how things work? This hands-on robotics class is a great way to turn that curiosity into a real, working robot they get to take home.

In this class, students will build their own STEAMbot while learning basic engineering skills, how to control their robot, and how to program it to perform tasks. It’s a fun, beginner-friendly way to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through something they can actually build and keep.

Students will:
🔹 Build a STEAMbot robot
🔹 Learn basic engineering concepts
🔹 Control and program their robot
🔹 Practice problem-solving through hands-on making
🔹 Take their finished STEAMbot home after class

An extra STEAMbot kit can also be purchased for a guardian assisting an under-18 student for $50. Please select the appropriate ticket type when registering.

✨ Instructor: Mr. Perez — semi-retired engineer with over 45 years of experience, including work with Apple, RSA Data Security, and Qualcomm. Through The STEAM Train, LLC, his goal is to encourage more young people to explore careers in STEAM by making robotics more accessible.

This is a great class for future engineers, curious makers, and anyone who wants to say, “I built a robot today.”
