What better way to commemorate the first official Juneteenth Holiday than by altering a paradigm and educating the next generation. This morning, we hosted our first Financial Literacy and Credit Management program, The Definition of Hope. Each participant received a wealth of knowledge about creating a savings, building a budget and understanding and managing credit. Program participants also received a Credit Management Workbook, T-shirt, and a laptop with backpack.. Special thanks to District Attorney, Danny Carr, Delvin Davis from Profixa and Mr and Mrs Paul Littlejohn. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Building more prisons in Alabama is definitely not the solution, especially privatized prisons. The ex*****on of prison and sentencing reform should be the priority.

Barclays investment bank announced they would not underwrite debt for two prisons that CoreCivic would lease to Alabama.
