Applications are open for Apple Foundation Program cohorts in Selma, Greensboro, and Tuskegee, with free, hands-on learning in app development, design thinking, and digital literacy.

Ready to add new digital skills to your toolkit?

The Ed Farm Apple Foundation Program is coming to Uniontown, Greensboro, and Tuskegee, Alabama beginning September 28. This free, 8-week program gives you hands-on experience with app development, design thinking, and digital literacy, with no prior coding experience required.

Over 80 hours of learning, you’ll have the opportunity to explore new technology, build practical skills, and put what you learn into practice.

As students settle into a new school year, we’re proud to know they’re taking new skills, experiences, and ideas back to the classroom after a summer filled with hands-on learning opportunities.

This summer, that included:
🔎 Cyber Forensics Camp: 58 students explored cybersecurity through digital crime scene simulations and hands-on learning alongside industry experts.

🏆 Student Fellows Showcase: 21 Student Fellows took the stage at to share original projects, including mobile apps, 3D prototypes, podcasts, and Metaverse solutions.

🤖 AI & Coding Experience: Nearly 50 students at the Warner Robins InnoLab explored AI, machine learning, and prompt engineering, then used AI tools to build their own virtual pets.

Each experience gave students a chance to put technology into practice, strengthen their skills, and discover new ways to create and solve problems.

Build your tech skills in just eight weeks with free, hands-on training in app development, design thinking, and digital literacy.

Applications are open for the Apple Foundation Program, offering 80 hours of learning designed to give you practical experience and a foundation for what’s next. No prior coding experience is required.

Cohorts begin August 24 in Birmingham, Montgomery, and York.
