Scholars will receive instruction in all ACT subject areas, valuable test-taking strategies, and helpful resources to build confidence and help to improve their scores from a qualified instructor.

The Jefferson County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated honors the life and legacy of our beloved Soror and Charter Member, Pearlie Garner Thomas. Initiated in 1960 through the Alpha Chi Chapter at Tennessee State University, Soror Thomas was a devoted member whose unwavering dedication exemplified the Sorority’s commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. She served as the first President of the Jefferson County Alumnae Chapter and was the chapter’s first Fortitude Award recipient.

Her leadership, service, and passion left an indelible mark not only on our chapter but also on all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
