Love this partnership but more importantly the people! Texans on Mission are the real deal and love the Lord!

Two weeks ago, Childress, Texas, entered a state of emergency.

Low water levels and extreme heat pushed their water treatment facilities above 100 degrees, fueling bacteria growth. The city ultimately issued a boil water notice due to a lack of drinking water.

Through partnering with Serve Source and Niagara Bottling, Texans on Mission delivered over 32 pallets of water to Childress this past weekend. Eight more pallets are on the way this week.

"Water is a basic human right," TXM Disaster Relief director Phil Ditto said. "And especially within this ministry — we see how important water is.

“It’s really important that we were able to facilitate a donation like that for those in need.”

Thank you, Serve Source and Niagara, for making this donation possible. Please be in prayer for the people of Childress as they work through this.

911 Highlight: Yesterday during our Serve Source Online Leader Connection, Amanda with Kids Around the World shared about something pretty incredible happening TODAY, September 11.

In partnership with 9/11 Day, volunteers across the country are coming together to pack meals in remembrance of those we lost on September 11, 2001. Turning a day of tragedy into a day of service.
Amanda isn’t just a guest on our call. She’s one of our leaders who hosts and joins us month after month, sharing what she’s seeing, learning from others, building relationships, and finding new ways we can serve together.
This is exactly why these connections matter.
