Great article in POZ Magazine featuring one of our board members, the Rev. Elder Carmarion D. Anderson! We’re also excited to see our dear friend Rev. Lauren Banks, Executive Director of the National HIV/AIDS Housing Coalition (NHAHC), highlighted in the article.

We’re especially proud of the important work being done to support people living with HIV. The article highlights the critical intersection of faith, housing, and HIV advocacy, and we’re proud to know and work alongside leaders like Rev. Elder Carmarion D. Anderson and Rev. Lauren Banks who continue to champion dignity and housing access for people living with HIV across the country. 😍

Carmarion D. Anderson and Lauren Banks are advocating for the most vulnerable.

Tonight, we celebrated our remarkable CEO, Kathie Hiers, with a truly unforgettable retirement party. People drove and flew in from all over to honor her, her extraordinary leadership, and the lasting legacy she has built in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

For 30 years, Kathie has saved every single lanyard from her incredible journey, and tonight, each and every one of us wore one; a powerful reminder of the countless lives she has touched, the history she has helped shape, and the legacy she leaves behind.

For hours, we celebrated, laughed, cried, shared stories, and enjoyed time together in recognition of a woman whose dedication has transformed countless lives, strengthened communities, and helped shape the future of HIV/AIDS advocacy, care, and compassion. Kathie is truly an icon, and we are all so proud and deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to know her, learn from her, and celebrate her incredible journey.

We’ll be sharing videos from tonight later this weekend. ❤️
