Due to the severe weather predicted to hit Alabama this Saturday, October 10th, with heavy rain, high winds, and possible hurricane/tornado conditions, this Saturday’s market is cancelled. ☔️

The Market team, Board members, and our Alabama farmers support this decision and appreciate that we are taking the safety of all seriously.

✨ The Market will be back, next Saturday, October 17 from 7am-12pm.

Stay safe this weekend and make plans to support your Alabama farmers and producers next weekend.

Sept 1: Vendor registration for the 2027 season is open, and applications are available online all month. Find answers to FAQs, the application, handbook and more at pepperplacemarket.com

The annual month long celebration: Women In Food Month, sponsored by Jones Walker LLP and hosted by Les Dames d'Escoffier, Birmingham begins. ✨ Each Saturday the Dames will host a themed demo while celebrating food leaders in our community!

Sept 5: Antique Automobile Club of America joins us to show off their antique cars. Visit with them in the Martin Biscuit Lot on 29th Street South + "Picnics and BBQs" at 9 am in the Market Kitchen

Sept 12: "Mediterranean Week" at 9 am in the Market Kitchen

Sept 19: Fall Wellness Day sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama with Southbound Food Festival special guests all morning on 29th Street South

Sept 26: Lakeshore Foundation's first annual BHAM Coffee Fest joins the farmers market with the last Women In Food demo at 9 am in the Market Kitchen.

Sept 30 at 12:00 pm: 2027 vendor registration closes
