Last week, on 9/11, we remembered those who lost their lives, honored the bravery of our first responders, and recognized the many acts of service that followed. 🇺🇸❤️

What better way to honor this day than by serving others? The amazing team at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama volunteered in the Meals on Wheels kitchen, packed hygiene and breakfast kits for senior clients, and filled backpacks with school supplies for children in our community.

Thank you, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama , for turning a day of remembrance into a day of meaningful service! 💙🙌🏾

🥨💙 Snacks, Service & Making a Difference! 💙🥨

Last Wednesday was a great day of service, teamwork, and giving back! The Rotary Club of Birmingham joined United Way of Central Alabama Hands On - UWCA and Success-By Six at the newly refurbished Harbert Center to pack snack kits for Birmingham City Schools preschool students experiencing food insecurity.

📦✨ Every kit packed means a little extra support for a child and family over the weekend!

We loved seeing RCB members roll up their sleeves, work together, and make an impact. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered and to RCB for continuing to show up for Birmingham’s youngest learners! 👏💙

Join United Way Hands On in honoring September 11th through service.

On Friday, September 11th, volunteers across the country will come together to pack meals for families facing hunger as part of the national Unite for Good campaign.

Birmingham volunteers can support this effort at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex by helping with setup, serving on the Event Support Team or packing shelf-stable meals for local families.
