Ardent Preschool & Daycare will play a special role in Junior Achievement Finance Park by representing one of the biggest budgetary categories in our simulation, childcare. If a student is given a life simulation that includes children, they will be required to budget for childcare with Ardent. Students might also be assigned a job as a the Assistant Director, Lead Teacher or Cook. Thank you to Adrent Preschool and Daycare for investing in the students of Alabama.

Beginning October with another Storefront Shoutout we have Ardent Preschool & Daycare. Education is the foundation of what we do at Junior Achievement of Alabama and Ardent shares that passion. Serving the youngest learners Ardent specializes in setting a standard of excellence from the beginning, that will be continued once students get to experience the Junior Achievement McWane Economic Education Center. What an amazing night at our Inaugural Finance Park After Dark event. Volunteers from our storefront sponsors, community partners and educators came to Junior Achievement McWane Economic Education Center to help us test run the Finance Park simulation. Amerex Corporation will have a major role in Junior Achievement BizTown by helping students understand how businesses must work together to make a city run efficiently. Students could find themselves as the CEO or a Sales Director. They might be the ones assembling fire extinguishers (Manufacturing Engineer) or even the inspector making sure everyone is in fire safety compliance (Fire Extinguisher Inspector). No matter their role thanks to sponsors like Amerex students will be fired up about their future career possibilities.

Alabama Power will represent one of the biggest budgetary components of Junior Achievement Finance Park, the connection to electricity. Electricity powers nearly every part of our daily lives and students will get to experience that first hand in this space. Students will also be able to interact with the Career Mirror and imagine themselves as a lineman, customer service rep or environmental engineer or even the CEO. Alabama Community College System represents two different student experiences in the Junior Achievement McWane Economic Education Center. In Junior Achievement BizTown students will be placed in a job working as an ACCS professional. They might be Dean of Students or the Director of Financial Aid. In Junior Achievement Finance Park ACCS will represent a budgetary option of earning a college degree or certification training to advance your career.
