🏀 A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT THIS WEEK

“The Christian life isn’t about becoming strong enough to live without Jesus. It’s about recognizing that we need Him every day”.

A powerful reminder from Pastor Lex that applies both on and off the court. As our players learn the game, may they also learn to depend on Jesus, grow in character, and encourage one another along the way.

At Upward Basketball, we believe the greatest victories go beyond the scoreboard. They begin with faith, grow through teamwork, and reflect Christ in the way we treat others.

📖 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13.

Let’s make it a great week! 🙌🏀

Every year I look forward to this picture.

Three summers. Three group photos. Three years of watching Brent and Christine (with new leaders Randy and Rhiannon) faithfully lead an amazing group of teenagers who show up ready to serve.

This week they removed over thousands of pounds of concrete(120,000lbs i believe) but the biggest thing they build every year is hope. They have helped build a foundation for the Montana Dream Center. They may never meet the people they will one day be helping but they have stored for themselves riches in Heaven!

We love you all so much. Thank you for making Montana feel like family. It’s never goodbye, just see you later family. 💚

“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭26‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬
