Our exposure mission team had a wonderful trip to Central Asia. We had the blessing of learning and serving in a number of different ways.

A tremendous thank you to our partners in Central Asia and the amazing prayer partners who all supported and encouraged us. We had safe and smooth travel. Certainly much to be grateful for in the entirety of the experience!

This trip is part of the internship experience. A change of place brings a change of perspective. This trip gives our team (and CLDI interns) a chance to see the world through the lens of the Gospel. Different cultures show you things about Jesus you would have never known staying put!

We usually spend ten days trekking through the 10-40 window witnessing first hand God’s work among the nations.

If you would like to hear more about the trip or our internship, please reach out!

Our space is officially set up and ready to welcome children! As of 5/18/26 we have secured insurance and have submitted an application for licensure to the State! Target date for opening: First week of July! We covet your prayers as we strive to bring in Hannah House kiddos by mid-summer.

Having daycare is a vital part of the road to recovery for moms at Hannah House. There are many obstacles for moms in recovery who are seeking reunification with their kids. Having a daycare on the campus removes several of these roadblocks at once. The daycare will provide affordable childcare, remove the challenge many moms have of finding transportation, as well as provide love and stability for the children of Hannah House.

I am filled with excitement and hope, trusting in God’s promise that good things come through patient waiting. As we wait, we remain prayerful that God has the very best in store for the children who will be blessed through this ministry of care and love.

-Jessica, Hannah House Director

Youth Works ministry isn’t always built in big moments, in big events or one-time experiences.

More often, it’s shaped through small, daily acts of faithfulness that slowly change how a child sees themselves.

We believe every child is made in the image of God who is worthy of being seen, known, loved, and treated with dignity. And sometimes the most meaningful ministry happens in moments that seem ordinary.

One afternoon, a Youth Works staff member noticed a sixth grade girl walking by and simply invited her into 316. That small invitation turned into a place of belonging. She kept coming back for breakfast, for connection, and for community.

Another day, a girl stood on the sidelines while other kids played football. With patience and encouragement, she learned how to throw for the first time. After a few tries, she was smiling confidently, realizing she was capable of more than she thought.

These moments may seem small, but they have lasting impact.

When a child is encouraged instead of overlooked… when they are welcomed instead of ignored… when adults show up consistently with grace and patience… it begins restoring something many kids quietly lose: the belief that they matter.

This is the slow, holy work of ministry.

Not just programs or events, but relationships. Presence. Trust. Small moments that reflect the heart of God over and over again.

We want every child to experience being seen, belonging, being valued and the deep love of God.

Behind the Scenes with Mady, the CLDI Intern

I have many kiddos at Orchard that I’ve had the opportunity to connect with! I love getting down on their level and adopting a 9-year-old mind.

Your top concerns are recess, snacks, friendships, how to hang upside down on the monkey bars, and the daunting idea of turning 10. Double digits!

There's one boy that I've become fast friends with, he thinks really deeply for a 9-year-old. His friends and brother hang out with him at recess, and we’ve spent much time playing games using our imaginations. His is a vivid one! But one day he tells me, “I don’t feel like I have a very good imagination.”

It perplexed me in the moment, but I then reminded him of his drawings he showed me and the imaginary games we play at recess. Factual truths that prove his imagination is amazing! He thought for a moment and realized, “Oh, I guess you're right!”

It may be a tiny conversation, but in the grand scheme of things it reminded me of the deceptive tendencies in our world and lies of the enemy Christians are often consumed by.

Of course the enemy wants us to doubt what's true! Just like this boy, we too believe lies about what's obviously true— even when the evidence is right in front of us!

Must be why God puts so much emphasis on remembrance of him.

This is the daily work, restoring, recalling, reminding and often, introducing South Side kids and residents to the idea of Imago Dei... made in HIS image.

Look who's here! A NEW Perdew!

Kersey Tate Perdew was born on May 15th, weighing 7 lbs 5 oz and measuring 19¾ inches.

Kersey is pronounced "Ker-zy". It's a lake in the Beartooths on the hike where Kelsey (mama) and Kaleb (papa) met. It means "knit together." How sweet is that???

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." Ps. 139: 13-14

Almost every student stepped forward.

Not for a game.
Not because they were told to.

But because it was true for them.

In a room of middle schoolers, one simple exercise revealed something we can’t afford to ignore. What these 11–13-year-olds are carrying is far heavier than most of us realize.

It’s the kind of moment you don’t walk away from unchanged.

We wrote about what happened and why it matters more than ever.

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is one of the simplest, most strategic ways to support the causes you care about.

It allows you to give with flexibility, clarity, and long-term intention while also supporting meaningful Kingdom impact through CLDI.

Your generosity helps develop leaders, disciple individuals, and restore communities in Billings.

If you already have a DAF, you can recommend a gift to CLDI directly through your provider.

If you don’t, it may be worth exploring with your financial advisor.
