“I don’t have time to volunteer.”

Friend… it’s TWO HOURS. We’ve spent longer deciding which food truck to try. 😂

We’re looking for just a few more volunteers to help VNN this weekend at the Food Truck Battle on the Yellowstone—one of Billings’ biggest, busiest, and most delicious events!

✅ Two-hour shifts
✅ Fun, high-energy atmosphere
✅ A great way to support local veterans
✅ Food trucks everywhere. Seriously. Everywhere.

Grab one of the last open spots here:

Come help for two hours—and then go find something deep-fried on a stick. 🌮🍔🍟

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!

How's your Monday going? 😂
After a BIG weekend around Billings - the air show, Banana Ball, and everything else going on - we figured everyone could use a little Monday check-in.

So....show us what kind of Monday you're having.

Search "meme" in your camera roll and drop one that describes your mood - or just give us your current favorite.

Bonus Points for military-related memes.

🚧Please exercise at least a tiny amount of judgement. We'd like to make it to lunch before getting the VNN page banned. Drop yours below.

Not every disability is visible and not every accessible parking permit hangs from a rearview mirror.

A recent story out of Helena involving a Montana veteran is an important reminder about making assumptions based on what we can see.

The veteran was confronted after parking in an accessible space because he did not have a hanging disability placard. But in Montana, a qualifying Disabled (DV) license plate authorizes the use of accessible parking spaces without an additional placard.

And there's an even bigger reminder here: you can't always see someone's disability.

A person may have a legitimate need for an accessible space even if their disability isn't immediately apparent. We rarely know someone's full circumstances just be looking at them. Before confronting someone or making an assumption, consider that there may be more to the situation that you can see. The veteran featured in the story said his goal wasn't retaliation - it was awareness. And that's a reminder worth sharing.
