Special Olympics was part of a first for Billings! Basketball, cross-country, and youth hockey, all at the same time! Made for crazy parking, but exciting times for the City of Billings!

Saturday turned the Amend Recreation Campus into the center of Montana sports, as thousands of athletes and fans spread across cross country, basketball and hockey events

The 2026 regional basketball tournament is officially in the books. A big thanks to ARC(Amend Recreation Complex) and their helpful staff. The staff was great to work with throughout the entire process and the facility made for a great event. Special Olympics is officially the first large group to use this gym, how cool is that! 😊 First time we’ve gotten to have all 600 of us in one spot! ❤️ Great jobs today athletes! 🎉

Thank you, Nikki Schaubel, Emily Schaff, and Ryan Sonnabend for the photos!
