Are you new to Billings or recently relocated to the area for work or school? Join us for Welcome to Billings, a casual networking event designed to help newcomers connect with the community and discover what makes Billings a great place to live, work, and play.

During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet local organizations and community partners who help make Billings vibrant and welcoming. Representatives from groups such as the Downtown Billings Association, Visit Billings, and other community organizations will be available to share information about local events, recreation, memberships, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in the community.

This is a great chance to ask questions, make new connections, and learn about the resources, activities, and experiences available throughout Billings and the surrounding region.

The event will be held April 16 from 4:00–5:30 PM at Thirsty Street Brewing Company. Guests will enjoy complimentary drinks and light snacks from Michelle’s Pantry while connecting with fellow newcomers and local organizations.

This is a quick reminder to register for the 2026 Montana SHRM State Conference, happening in Missoula from April 29–May 1, 2026. More details can be found on the State SHRM website. https://montana.shrm.org/2026-mt-state-conference

We are also collecting donations for the Silent Auction supporting the SHRM Foundation. If you’d like to contribute, Paula and I will gladly coordinate. Items can be dropped off at Billings Federal Credit Union, and we’ll transport them to Missoula.

Thank you for supporting the Montana SHRM State Conference and the SHRM Foundation! Your donations help fund scholarships, research, and initiatives that strengthen the HR profession. Our local Chapter is responsible for at least one basket; however, we would love to take up several more. If your company is interested in being a part of the auction and donating a basket, I have included the attachments for Charitable Donation receipt and Silent Auction Donor facts.
