PIDO

Parking tickets alert: Yesterday a park visitor got a $50 ticket for parking between the yellow bollards on Rydin Road (in front of the USPS property).

City of Richmond infrequently enforces the parking rules along Rydin Road--but they can anytime. Be careful out there.

(People sometimes ask if EBRPD can persuade Richmond not to ticket on, say, busy weekends. No, not really.)

🐾 Caption This!

For five years, Berkeley cartoonist Damon 🙂 Guthrie has captured the chaos, comedy, and muddy joy of Point Isabel in his beloved PIDO Pointer comics—zoomies, squirrel standoffs, slobbery friendships, and all.

If you’ve been to Point Isabel Regional Shoreline—a former landfill turned into the East Bay’s iconic park with sweeping Bay views and dogs running free—you know every walk comes with a story.

Now it’s your turn to write the punchline.

Point Isabel Dog Owners & Friends (PIDO) is hosting a New Yorker–style caption contest (with a little more mud and slobber). Damon will judge!

🏆 Winner + runner-up receive a prize—and major bragging rights.

Submit by May 1. Enter here: www.pido.org/comics 🐕💬
