🇸🇻 🚨This Monday marks the anniversary of the arrest of Salvadoran human rights defender and anti-corruption lawyer Ruth López. Her case is emblematic of a troubling pattern in El Salvador where dissident voices become targets and political imprisonment is used as a tool to silence them.

🎙️ Listen to the latest episode of Latin America Today where we sit down with Ruth's husband Louis Benavides and Director of Cristosal Noah Bullock to discuss her case and the broader implications for democracy in El Salvador. 👇
