For Missy Tracy, creating healthier communities has always started with respect. A citizen of the Ho-Chunk Nation and longtime leader at Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison, Missy became one of the nation's strongest voices showing that tribal gaming and smokefree environments don't just coexist, they thrive together. Before joining ANR/F's Board of Directors, Missy partnered with the organization to help tell Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison's story after it became Wisconsin's first tribal casino to voluntarily go smokefree. She traveled the country sharing how protecting employees and guests strengthened the business while honoring Tribal values of caring for community and future generations. That partnership eventually led her to ANR/F's Board in 2021.

ICYMI: Back in February, a NYT editorial noted, “Over the past several decades, supporters of ma*****na legalization often called for a strategy of ‘legalize and regulate.’ ” It is a smart approach. Unfortunately, the country has pursued the first part of it while largely ignoring the second.” Read more and see our resources regarding the expansion of cannabis lounges in California.
