Si eres un inmigrante que solicita asilo y estás tramitando tu solicitud ante los tribunales, o intentas legalizar tu situación de otra manera, aquí tienes algunos recordatorios importantes. Ubicaciones de los tribunales, tarifas de asilo y procedimientos.

Los inmigrantes que estén tramitando su solicitud de asilo ahora deben pagar una cuota de 100 dólares al año o corren el riesgo de ser deportados.

🌈🍬 Orgullo Sin Fronteras

Este fin de semana marchamos en el desfile de Fresno Pride, celebrando el poder, la creatividad y el liderazgo de nuestra comunidad de inmigrantes LGBTQ+. Con el tema escogido de "Dulce Amor" transformamos nuestra camioneta en una gigantesca piñata y repartimos dulces de todo el mundo.

Lo más inspirador fueron las personas detrás de este evento: nuestros clientes quienes crearon una celebración reflejando quiénes son como líderes, artistas, soñadores y miembros orgullosos de la comunidad. En un lugar donde muchas personas LGBTQ+ aún pueden sentirse aisladas o invisibles, esperamos que la presencia de Oasis en este desfile haya sido un recordatorio poderoso de que pertenecen y que nunca están soles. 💖

🌈🍬 Pride Without Borders

This weekend, we marched in the Fresno Pride parade, celebrating the power, creativity, and leadership of our LGBTQ+ immigrant community. The theme of our float was ‘Dulce Amor’ (Sweet Love), we transformed our truck into a giant piñata and handed out candy from around the world.

The most inspiring part were the people behind the event: our clients, who created a celebration reflecting who they are as leaders, artists, dreamers, and proud members of the community. In a place where many LGBTQ+ individuals may still feel isolated or invisible, qe hope that Oasis’ presence in the parade served as a powerful reminder that they are not alone. 💖

Mayo es el mes de la concientización sobre la salud mental y queremos compartir este recurso por parte de nuestro equipo de Servicios Sociales. Sabemos que los cambios a las pólizas de inmigración afectan la salud mental de nuestra comunidad.

✨ Por eso aquí les dejamos 4 consejos de bienestar:

1. Limite el uso de redes sociales y analice información sobre inmigración con cuidado.
2. Crear comunidad con personas de apoyo.
3. Practiquemos la compasión propia.
4. Practiquemos la gratitud.

📞 También hemos compilado una lista de líneas de crisis y apoyo. Recuerde que por más que a veces nos sintamos abrumados, nuestra comunidad no está sola.

El tema del desfile de este año es «Orgullo sin Fronteras», y el tema de nuestra carroza de Oasis es «Dulce Amor». 🍬

¡Búscanos junto al camión gigante —del tamaño de una
piñata—, rodeado de dulces provenientes de todo el mundo! 🪅

Estaremos ubicados en el Tower District de Fresno, en la esquina noreste de Palm Ave y Olive Ave.

Acompáñanos a las 9:00 a. m.; el desfile comenzará a las 10:00 a. m. ☺️

Oasis le invita a un evento de celebración: una recepción de galería y muestra fotográfica por parte de inmigrantes LGBTQ+ del Valle Central.

Usando fotografía y narración de historias, explorará temas de supervivencia, seguridad, resiliencia y lo que significa encontrar un hogar y refugio en el Valle Central de California como inmigrante LGBTQ+.

Oasis invites you to an evening that is both celebratory and deeply meaningful: a gallery reception and photography showcase featuring LGBTQ+ immigrants from the Central Valley.

Through photography and storytelling, explore themes of survival, safety, resilience, and what it means to find home and sanctuary in California’s Central Valley as an LGBTQ+ immigrant.

Nueve años proveyendo servicios para la comunidad LGBTQ+.

Nueve años creando espacios seguros y acogedores para nuestra comunidad.

Y lo que hace a nuestra organización un Oasis de verdad, son las personas.

El aniversario de Oasis también coincide con el Día Contra la homofobia, bifobia, y transfobia.

Nine years ago, Oasis was created.

Nine years of providing services to LGBTQ+ immigrants.

Nine years of creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

But what makes our organization a true Oasis are the people behind it.

Oasis’ anniversary appropriately coincides with International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia - a sentiment that is at the core of what we do.

Our colleagues at and will lead "Competency: HIV/AIDS 101 for the Legal Aid Attorney."

The workshop will explore the unique vulnerabilities faced by people living with HIV/AIDS, and provide attendees with:

✔️Historical context on trauma and marginalization
✔️Trauma-informed and culturally responsive intake practices
✔️Space for honest, nonjudgmental dialogue
✔️Resources specifically for people living with HIV/AIDS
