When Razi received an ISF scholarship, he was juggling graduate school, a full-time public service job, and raising a young family. Like many ISF scholars, he had the drive and talent, he just needed support along the way.

Today, Razi serves as a Law Clerk and Senior Policy Advisor, helping shape policies that impact communities every day.

We're proud to have been a small part of his journey and grateful to see alums like Razi creating meaningful change through public service.

Join ISF in NYC for Rewriting the Script, powered by Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, an evening exploring how media portrayals shape public narratives, policy, and belonging. Speakers will also discuss how artists, storytellers, and cultural leaders can help shift cultural narratives toward equity and understanding.

Through our film programs, we support filmmakers who are leading these important conversations and bringing underrepresented voices and experiences to the screen. Cannes 2026 may be over, but the work of bringing powerful stories to life continues 🎬

From pitch sessions to networking with industry leaders, filmmakers explored opportunities to move their projects forward on an international stage.

Through ISF gatherings and our connections with partners like Women In Film, Watermelon Pictures, Doha Film Institute, and others, our filmmakers took big steps toward bringing their stories to the screen. Throughout the festival, ISF filmmakers explored funding, distribution, and educational opportunities. They also participated in dedicated pitch sessions with financiers, distributors, and sales agents, building lasting relationships with industry professionals.

We’re proud to celebrate ISF alum and former Congressional Policy Intern, Isra Qadri, on her new role as a Legal and Research Assistant with Everytown for Gun Safety.

Isra’s journey reflects the power of investing in young Muslim leaders and creating pathways into policy, advocacy, and public service. Students gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities that help shape their futures and amplify their impact through ISF’s Congressional Internship Program.
