Happy Fall from PEV! 🍁🍂✨

It’s officially Autumn and the season is in full swing. We got more familiar with our new music at rehearsal last night, and with some of our new faces at our weekend afternoon in the park.

The board has since moved to nominate Bailey the Beagle as our mascot. 🐶🧡

Last night was the first rehearsal of the 2026/2027 season! 🎵🧡🎶 The welcoming words from Nic, our awesome director, got everyone excited for all the incredible music we get to sing this year.

We also got to introduce new singers to every section and hear our new sound. The sopranos can soar like you wouldn’t believe, the altos were clearly made for each other with their rich blend, the tenors are a small but mighty powerhouse, and the basses shook the room.

We can’t wait to share it all with you! First concert is in December, keep an eye out for early bird tickets 😉🕊️🎟️

PEV has sung in a lot of places - from cathedrals and concert halls to museums, art installations and the deck of the USS Hornet. But today was a first: the Federal district courtroom of the Honorable James Donato in S.F., as he presided over a naturalization ceremony. Thanks to the judge and his career clerk PEV alto Jiyoun Chung, we had the privilege of providing a musical welcome to 54 new US citizens from 31 different countries. A truly moving experience for all.

We’re excited for our final A Ca****la Road Trip stop today at ODC in the Mission. Heads up that BART service is reduced today for maintenance, so plan ahead if you’re planning to come via transit (which is super easy - ODC is 3 blocks from 16th St Mission stop).
