Pathways Supportive Services, supporting young adults in San Francisco, would be honored to have some poetry recited at their Larkin Street Youth Services Juneteenth event on Monday, June 22nd from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, focused on honoring Black freedom, culture, and expression.

Date: June 22, 2026
Time: 11 AM - 3 PM (any time frame is available at this time to insert the poetry portion of the event).
Location: 134 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco
Request: 1 to 2 poets willing to recite a spoken word/poem about Juneteenth.

BAPC is saddened to learn of the passing of MAGGIE MORLEY on January 22, 2026 at the age of 91. Maggie was the esteemed editor of BAPC's POETALK poetry journal from 1998-2010 and a good friend and active member of the Bay Area poetry community for many years. We extend our condolences to her family and friends.
