At REACH Shirati, we believe the best way to help build thriving communities is through focused, locally inspired programs that deliver resources and assistance over time. Our three pillar programs, Education, Heath Care and Community Development, build a network of support that brings real opportunities for the families we serve. We begin by engaging the local Shirati-Nyamagongo community in the
Rorya district of Northern Tanzania, to help us design and implement projects that they deem essential. Once projects have been selected we engage our supporters and volunteers to help us fund and implement these projects. Through our Global Outreach Program, we organize annual volunteer trips to the Shirati-Nyamagongo, typically during the summer months. During these trips, our volunteers participate in community projects and work side-by-side local residents, engaging the community and getting to know the people that benefit from their efforts.
