Leadership transitions matter.

At the Louisiana State Nurses Association and Louisiana Nurses Foundation, we recognize that strong organizations are built not only by the leaders who serve, but also by how intentionally knowledge, relationships, and organizational history are carried forward.
As we continue the transition between Deborah Ford and our new Executive Director, Catina Gordon-Oates, we are grateful for the commitment both leaders have demonstrated to ensuring continuity, preserving institutional knowledge, and positioning LSNA and LNF for continued growth.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Deborah Ford for generously sharing her knowledge, experiences, and insight throughout this transition. Her willingness to invest in a thoughtful handoff reflects the very essence of leadership and service.

We are equally excited to welcome the energy, curiosity, and vision Catina brings as she learns from the foundation that has been built while preparing to lead LSNA and LNF into their next chapter.
