A winning dish takes a winning team. Congratulations to Chef Mark Reilly and the entire Cecelia Creole Bistro team on taking home 1st Place in the Louisiana Flavor category AND Best in Show Culinary at Fête Rouge 2026!

Their Louisiana Alligator Al Pastor brought bold Louisiana flavor to the competition with blackened Louisiana alligator, chimichurri rojo, green tomato chow chow, Tabasco peppers, Cotija cheese and flour tortillas. From the creativity behind the dish to the team that brought it to life, Cecelia showed exactly why Baton Rouge’s culinary community is something special.
