Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership The Partnership leads economic development in the nine-parish Louisiana Capital Region. More information is available at www.brac.org.

The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) leads economic development in the nine-parish Baton Rouge Area, working to grow jobs and wealth and to improve the business climate and competitiveness in the region. Today, BRAC investors include more than 1,460 small businesses, mid-sized firms, large industry and entrepreneurial startups, as well as individuals and organizations that support business and economic development. In this capacity, BRAC serves as the voice of the business community, providing knowledge, access, services and advocacy.

One year ago today, we became the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership.

Our new name was built for the stage we compete on. As we work to bring new investment, jobs, and talent to Louisiana’s Capital Region, The Partnership communicates who we are to a national and international audience: our scope as a regional economic development organization for our nine parishes, our ambition to compete with the strongest regions in the world, and our belief that growth happens through collaboration.

This week, The Partnership team visited the River Bend Campus in West Feliciana Parish for a first look at Hut 8's AI data center that is currently under construction. The more than 600-acre campus represents up to $10 billion in Phase I investment, making it one of the largest private capital projects in the Capital Region’s history.

Projects of this scale take strong partners. We extend our congratulations to our friends in West Feliciana Parish, especially Parish President Kenny Havard, on this significant project win.
