Today is National Cancer Survivor Day. To a person diagnosed with cancer, every day is a day of survival, thriving, and honoring even on the hard days, the gut wrenching days, the "I'm done" days, the hopeful days, the good news days, the sucky news days. To be able to support those navigating a cancer diagnosis, whatever the cancer may be, whatever the stage may be... RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is here with support.

For our community that have dealt with a cancer diagnosis, Infertility and pregnancy loss together... We know that for some of you it was a cancer diagnosis for yourself or your partner that brought you into the Infertility world or your infertility brought you into the cancer world. We see you.

Last night, along with many of you, we learned of the death of Kyle Busch , husband of Samantha Busch , father, NASCAR driver, and so much more. Kyle was a passionate voice in the community of pregnancy loss and infertility through his and Samantha's own personal experience.

They became involved with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association through storytelling, advocacy and unity. Their story was openly shared with all of us, in real time, authentically. Usually, "famous" people sharing their stories are the person attempting to carry a pregnancy. We are grateful for his voice as a partner, giving strength to other partners and building community and connection.

With Samantha, they created the Bundle of Joy Fund , a way to support others trying to overcome the financial barriers for a chance at growing their families. Turning pain into action and purpose. https://bundleofjoyfund.org/

Our hearts go out to the Busch family, and everyone who loves them.

We are proud to stand with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association and advocate for access to family building care. Infertility affects 1 in 6 people—including most of us on the planning team. Sharing our stories is how change happens.

Our Hope on the High Notes karaoke event was our way of kicking off a month of action. Jessie, our chair, had many conversations with folks in attendance about the different forms of family building options that our community experiences, every single one of those people deserve a chance. That is all anyone wants - a fighting chance.
