Out For Justice, Inc. Out For Justice is an organization led by formerly and currently incarcerated people.

We engage, educate, and empower our community around the Maryland legislative process, so that they may evolve to the best versions of themselves. Through organizing and persistence we strive to bring about broad, deep economic, political, and social change. All of our members are volunteers, with most possessing a criminal background. Our members are ready to lead and work tirelessly everyday to advocate on behalf of themselves, family members, and those who have yet to find their voice.

The idea of "Clean Slate" laws is to help streamline the process of sealing or clearing past arrest and conviction records for those who have served their sentence, remain crime-free and are otherwise eligible.
