The story of Downtown Baltimore is changing and the data proves it.

Crime is down. Investment is moving. New housing, major developments, and world-class entertainment are bringing new energy to the heart of our city. But sustaining that momentum requires all of us to keep showing up and investing in Baltimore's future.

As our President & CEO Shelonda Stokes writes:
"Downtown Baltimore is not a problem to be managed. It is an asset to be invested in, championed and developed for the benefit of every person across our city and state."

The momentum is real. The plan is ready. The moment is now.

Read Shelonda's full op-ed and learn why Downtown's future depends on continued collaboration, investment, and belief in what's possible. https://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/news/2026/06/05/oped-downtown-baltimore-renaissance-bounceback.html

What. A. Day. 🌆🎉❤️

Charles Street Promenade reminded us exactly what Downtown Baltimore is all about—community, creativity, and coming together to celebrate the heart of our city.

From packed sidewalks and bustling local businesses to live performances, outdoor dining, family fun, and unforgettable moments around every corner, Downtown was alive with energy because you showed up.✨

To our staff, volunteers, community partners, vendors, performers, and everyone who helped bring this event to life: thank you. Your passion and dedication turned 17 blocks into one incredible celebration for thousands to enjoy.

A special thank you to our presenting partner, The City of Baltimore Development Corporation - BDC, for helping make this event possible, and to Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture for keeping our guests refreshed with complimentary water throughout the day.

Events like this don't just happen—they're built by a community that believes in Downtown Baltimore. And after a day like Saturday, we couldn't be more proud to be part of it.

Until next year... thank you for making Charles Street Promenade one to remember. 🎶🛍️🌞
