If you "heart" Highlandtown, want to get to know your neighbors, or if you just like the idea of having fun while serving your community, then sign up to volunteer in Highlandtown! From a tree-pit clean-up (Wed. Oct 21), to walking in the Great Lantern Parade, to hanging up holiday decor, there are plenty of ways to use your skills while uplifting the neighborhood during this busy event-season!

The Fall and Winter holidays are upon us, and Highlandtown knows how to celebrate! We need folks to pitch in at events, and help prepare our streets and sidewalks for the season!

Team up with fellow volunteers to help clean up along Eastern Avenue! We'll remove trash and weeds from pits and add a layer of mulch around trees.

An online learning session, "Understanding Heir's Property in Maryland," will explore answers, highlight early intervention points and practical resources. Professionals will learn how they can connect neighbors to support.

We're excited to share that Lucia Islas, a Southeast CDC case manager, has been nominated as the "Advocate of the Year" by the Baltimore Family Alliance!

Nominees will be recognized at their annual Stoop Soirée at the Maryland Zoo Mansion House on Friday, November 13.
