Sensory tools can be simple—but powerful—supports in therapy.

At our agency, we often use water beads and sensory trays as part of structured, goal-driven interventions for children and adolescents. These materials can help support emotional regulation, fine motor development, tactile exploration, and attention skills in a way that feels engaging rather than clinical.

Water beads, for example, offer a unique sensory experience that can be calming for some clients and activating in a productive, focused way for others. Paired with intentional prompts and therapeutic guidance, they can help children practice skills like turn-taking, impulse control, and identifying feelings through play.

Research consistently shows that mothers are often the first to recognize emotional or behavioral concerns and are most frequently the parent coordinating appointments, advocating for services, and connecting families to treatment and support.

At our agency, we see the dedication, strength, and persistence of mothers every day — making phone calls, attending sessions, supporting their children through challenges, and never giving up when help is needed.

At Tidemark Interventions, we know that when someone reaches out for help, timely access to services matters.

Our 2025 Annual Report highlights our ongoing commitment to connecting clients with care as quickly as possible:

• Average contact time after referral: 0–1 day
• Average wait time for intake appointment: 15 days
• 48.17% of clients were seen within 14 days of referral
• 74.07% of clients were seen within 30 days of referral

We continue working to reduce barriers through extended office hours, after-hours crisis support, telehealth options, transportation assistance, language interpretation services, and accessible facilities.

Our goal is simple: help clients get connected to the services they need as soon as possible.
