A tidemark is the highest point reached by the tide before it begins to recede. It leaves a visible mark—a reminder of how far the water once came.
Mental health can feel a lot like the tide.
There are seasons when stress, grief, anxiety, or life’s challenges seem to rise higher than we ever expected. Those moments may leave their own “tidemarks” on our hearts and minds. But just as the tide eventually pulls back, difficult seasons do not last forever.
The marks left behind aren’t signs of weakness—they’re evidence that we endured. They tell the story of storms weathered, challenges faced, and resilience built along the way.
If you’re in a season of high tide, keep going. The water won’t stay at its highest point forever. 🌊
