Baltimore Hebrew Congregation extends a heartfelt Mazel Tov to our dear neighbors at Suburban Orthodox: Rabbi Shmuel Silber has been appointed Executive Vice President of the Orthodox Union!

BHC and Suburban Orthodox share far more than the land between us. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful relationship our congregations have built over the years and for the warmth, friendship, and partnership we share with many thanks to Rabbi Silber.

Rabbi Silber’s appointment is a tremendous honor for him and his congregation, and the entire Baltimore Jewish Community.

We celebrate this wonderful achievement with Rabbi Silber, his family, the entire Suburban Orthodox community, and all of Jewish Baltimore. Mazel tov!

BHC's Bernstein Garden is flourishing! This beautiful space was created in 2024 for gathering, celebrating, and making meaningful memories together.

Many of you remember our Yom Kippur Meditation service in the garden led by Cantor Ellerin - we look forward to seeing you there again this year!
