Parks & People invites Baltimore to “Picnic in the Park 2026,” featuring internationally recognized violinist and vocalist Chelsey Green & The Green Project (Dr. Chelsey Green) for an unforgettable evening of live music, food, cocktails, immersive art, and outdoor experiences on our beautiful 9-acre campus.

Set across the Parks & People campus, guests will experience curated food and beverage offerings, vibrant outdoor activations, live entertainment, and networking opportunities throughout the evening-all included with the purchase of a ticket.

New this year is our “Live on the Lawn” experience. Our VIP guests will enjoy premium seating near the stage alongside access to a designated hospitality area throughout the evening.

General Admission guests will enjoy dedicated lawn seating designed for a relaxed outdoor concert atmosphere. Limited onsite seating will be available on a first come basis, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

The evening will also recognize community leaders and organizations whose work continues to strengthen Baltimore through the presentation of the Sally Michel Award, the Eddie C and C Sylvia Brown People Award, and the Jonna Lazarus Parks Award.

Each ticket supports communities across Baltimore City, helping us build parks and playgrounds and educate community members to be environmental stewards for a greener, healthier city.

Live theater is back on Parks & People’s campus tomorrow with Shakespeare Beyond! Located on 9-acres of land that used to be connected to Druid Hill Park, this island of green—now home to the Parks & People nonprofit—sits across the street from the Maryland zoo, Mondawmin transit station, and Third Space at Shaarei Tfiloh.

Did you know SuperKids Camp is celebrating its 30th anniversary? That’s 30 years of providing Baltimore City youth a place to learn, play, and make new friends with no cost to families each summer. Of course, it would not be possible without our dedicated staff, school sites, partners, and funders who make SuperKids Camp joy possible every year.
