Gem Cutters Guild Dues and initiation fees are payable upon application to membership.

The Gem Cutters Guild of Baltimore, Inc., a non-profit organization, was established in order to allow its members to gain knowledge and skills in the lapidary arts, gemology and jewelry fabrication, Become a member of the Gem Cutters Guild of Baltimore!

* Annual dues for individual membership is $35

* Each additional member living in the same home is $20 additional.

* Junior membership is $20 annually. Juniors must be a minimum of 14 years old and must be accompanied by an adult member at all meetings, events, and in the shop.

* There is a $12 initiation fee per person which covers the cost of a membership badge, bylaws and insurance roster.

* Open shop membership is an additional $75 per year per person, and requires the member to be certified as trained on each piece of equipment they use. But you don't have to join to attend meetings (though we'd love it if you did!)

❤️ It takes a lot of rockhounds to put on a Gem Show!

A huge (belated) thank-you to everyone who came out for our Picnic & Prep Day as we get ready for the 61st Annual Gem Show! Especially our hosts Alan and Katie.

We salted the gravel for the Gem Mine, got the display cases ready to roll, organized the trailer, and most importantly shared a potluck. 😋

Our Annual Show is a true team effort, powered by members who volunteer their time, share their skills and are just as excited about rocks as we are.

The Gem Show isn't just for serious collectors. It's a great place for curious kids to discover that science can be hands-on, fascinating and a whole lot of fun.

GTC Rock Shop is dedicated to helping kids of all ages explore the world of geology through educational programs, products and experiences.
