BMORE BLXCK

This is a hard post to make. Our Co-Founder and Executive Director, Legacy lost a great person in their support system and we are coming to the community for assistance to lay him to rest. Carl “Bilal” Forte was one of the people that made BMORE BLXCK’s first One Stop Shop possible, he has provided support within community organizing for over 20 years. He was a proud Muslim, son, father, brother and friend and he will be missed dearly ❤️‍🩹

Please share, repost, and donate if able. We thank you all in advance.

On October 12th, 1998, Matthew Shepard died as the result of a horrific anti-gay hate crime. Today we honor the memory of Matthew Shepard and vow to continue to fight against LGBTQ+ hate and discrimination.
