Live Like Blaine The glass of Blaine's life was always overflowing with joy and energy. Her relentlessly positive outlook inspired her family, friends, teammates and coaches.

By connecting a diverse community of young women athletes through our transformative leadership programming, we are empowering the next generation of women to become authentic, resilient and confident leaders. Live Like Blaine honors Blaine Steinberg, an accomplished athlete, student, and leader who passed away suddenly in March 2014, just two weeks before her 21st birthday. We hope to share Blain

Last Sunday, the 2025-2026 girls were officially inducted into the Live Like Blaine alum network. Over the past nine months, this group of girls has exceeded all expectations and left an incredible mark on the organization. We are eager to see what they accomplish beyond Live Like Blaine!

CLASS OF 2029…
The Live Like Blaine Leadership Academy offers rising sophomores a chance to enhance leadership and interpersonal skills through a comprehensive toolkit that fosters self-awareness, confidence, teamwork, and more. This personal growth journey takes place within a diverse community of enthusiastic, skilled peers from local high schools. Students can meet female leaders in sports and business, attend an overnight retreat, and participate in community service.
The selective program will accept 24 girls from Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs in 1 of 2 cohorts (48 total). Selected students will meet monthly for a 2-hour in-person session to learn leadership skills to improve performance on and off the field and in their communities. There will also be a speaker series with local female leaders, and the program is free.
Please share the registration link with any interested students. A flyer with a QR code linked to the application is attached. The application deadline is May 15, 2026, but rolling admissions encourage early applications.

In recent years, Live Like Blaine leaders have championed causes such as mental health awareness, access to clean water, and support for returning veterans. At Live Like Blaine, our goal is not only to empower our student-athletes on the field, but off the field as well. Through our annual community service project, we give our student leaders the chance to work together to create a service event to support causes that make our world a better place.
