"I'm excited that my community now has enough clean water to be happy and healthy." 😄

This is Nice, a six-year-old student from Salaita, Kenya. She loves school (especially math!) and dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up.

Before a clean water project was installed in her community, Nice often had to skip school to collect water from a well. There was not enough water for her family to perform daily tasks, and sometimes the water tasted salty.

With Salaita’s new water system, Nice can focus on her education and dreams. 🩵

Here’s some good news! ✨

Water is a daily need, but it can be so much more than that.

Having reliable access to clean water improves a community’s health, education, and economic outcomes. The community of Mitero is a great example of this! Since the completion of the community’s clean water project, enrollment and attendance have increased at Mitero School. Its students are happy, healthy, and able to learn!

That is the Ripple Effect of clean water.
