Dripping Springs vegan options? ❤️‍🔥 Fire at Summer Revival - a happy surprise this weekend! Usually we're a little scared to open Happy Cow this far from Austin (not that far) and their options were all GREAT!

Another year another Skull & Cakebones 🏳️‍🌈 meal coming thru for all the vegans at ACL Festival 🥲💕

Join ATX Vegans on Saturday, October 17 to help distribute food to folks across Austin with Food Not Bombs ATX - if you help out with deliveries, we're buying you a scoop of ice cream from Luv Fats ice cream afterwards!

Come out, meet new friends, and do some GOOD! Please note: we're not looking for people to help with cooking (our friends at FnB have that covered) - we want people to help get this food where it needs to go!!

Sign up here!!! We need you!

Join Planted Society and ATX Vegans for a meetup at COMMUNITY Kitchen + Taproom on Friday, Sept 4 starting at 6:30p. It's all about making new connections & eating great food - a low pressure evening!

Please RSVP if you plan on attending.

We'll order apps/shareables for the group, but we encourage all who arrive to support our host businesses by ordering drinks and entrees! Let's pour some love into one of Austin's newest brick & mortar plant-forward businesses!

As always, by attending this event, you agree to abide by our Event & Safety Policies.

RSVP in our bio!! 🦇 Meet us at 6:30pm at Chicano Park for a relaxed sunset walk + talk with Austin Bat Refuge. We will have a quick bite to eat + chat, then head on to the Congress Avenue Bridge. The route is beginner-friendly: mostly flat and paved. We will get a chance to learn ALL ABOUT Austin’s Bats. Come prepared with a bottle of water. (for walking!)

We will be staying until they fly out for the night, but folks are welcome to head back at any time. We will walk back together as a group, as well.

This is a great opportunity to connect with others who care about local wildlife, the food system, or just want to learn something new and participate in something classically Austin. All are welcome, but for the safety of the bats, we ask that everyone leave their animal friends at home.

Parking Advice: There is limited street parking near Chicano Park – we like parking at Festival Beach and walking over. There is usually plenty of street parking near Fiesta Gardens.

This event is organized by Planted Society's Austin Chapter - our mission is to foster community around our shared love of the environment. We highlight climate-friendly eating and environmental action with free events and activations designed to educate and inspire.

Guess where!

It's - We finally made it down and I am serious, if you have not visited, you should make a plan to eat there asap.

Generous portions, the best hospitality, such a thoughtfully planned & welcoming space. I am not kidding - you must get the mac & cheese, fried okra, and cornbread at LEAST (or I will cry) - any of their mushrooms is a hit as well.

I loved reading about their origins on the menu - we will be back again and again.

On our way out, we bumped into the fine folks next door at - the sign is up, the space is looking niiiiiice - We cannot wait until they open in the new digs.

What a perfect pair of restaurant neighbors.
